Up for sale is a rare 1977 Porsche 924 with sunroof delete
The sunroof delete models are extremely rare, as most 924 in North America have sunroofs. This makes the car more rigid and lighter due to less reinforcements needed.
The car has been sitting for 2 years now, so it needs some work.
The engine runs great and is in great mechanical condition.
I have converted the body to a Carrera GT style with rear and front wide fender arches to accomodate bigger tires and the front end is a 944 Turbo style.
The only thing this car needs is to complete the body work and paint.
The engine has been refreshed with virtually all the parts replaced, except for the engine it self as it is in perfect condition!
The mechanical injection system has been dumped in favor of an electronic injection and ignition system, making tuning the car easier and its much more reliable now.
I have spent proximatley $15,000 into the car, and as i have said it just needs body work and paint to complete.
I don't have the time anymore to complete the project and would rather see it go to a good home, rather sit in my garage.
